X-ray Image Interpretation Training
Our half day X-ray image interpretation course uses the operational experience of our police and military trained experts to deliver hands-on X-ray image analysis training for up to 8 people using your own X-ray machine. As well as covering suspicious package awareness and X-ray screener training, we use a range of inert training aids to demonstrate how different items may be packaged and how different elements will display on the X-ray screen. Explanation of how image enhancements and colour filters can aid in threat identification.
Remote Bomb Tech X-ray Screener Support
For customers who want the comfort of decision making outside of their own mailroom we offer Remote X-ray Analysis through our approved partner. Remote X-ray screening support provides your screener with instant access to elite bomb technicians and law enforcement professionals to evaluate questionable images and items in real-time. Through an innovative and secure live video and voice connection, the screener and bomb technician collaboratively examine suspicious images and articles to determine if a dangerous substance or device is present. This expert level remote support effectively minimizes needless operational disruptions, enhances screening accuracy and screening throughput.
PAS97:2015 Training
Quadient delivers training courses that cover the X-ray mailscreening element of PAS97: 2015. Our hands on X-ray screener courses can be tailor-made to the PAS97:2015 screening level that you have selected as appropriate for your business. It also discusses screening and detection of the CPNI discrete threat objects and bulk materials list outlined in the PAS97:2015. Training on the PAS97:2015 specification for mailscreening and security looks at interpretation of the PAS97:2015 for your business. This is an on-line course which includes a certificate of completion.
Mail Screening Test Piece
The Mail Screening Test Piece (MSTP) was developed by CPNI for image quality assurance testing of mailroom X-ray screening equipment. The MSTP includes a range of penetration, wire visibility, powder detection and image resolution test pieces that allow you to evaluate the image quality performance of your mailscreening equipment. Through regular training and by routinely testing the performance of your X-ray equipment you can ensure that your business follows the best practice guidelines of PAS97:2015 and maintains a high level of protection against postal threats.
Training Aids Postal Device Training
Kits for ongoing staff training/ monitoring and assessment. The kit contains a variety of package sizes and types including replicas of Postal IEDS, Incendiaries, Sharps and White Powder Postal Devices. All devices are X-ray correct for both single and dual energy X-ray systems. All training aids are completely inert and safe and supplied fully marked, with address, postage stamps and other markings for authenticity. Custom devices to target or replicate specific threats are also available i.e. Crim/Crank, ARE, Terrorist/Organised Crime.
