Sending Royal Mail Parcels to EU Destinations FAQs

There are several options available to senders, see list below:

• FrankPay is a solution that allows senders to use their IX franking machine to pay for Parcel Force WorldWide services via their franking meter.  Visit Parcelforce Worldwide and follow the step-by-step instructions.  An account is not required for one-off sending.
• Use Parcelforce Worldwide to ship your parcel and pay by card.  An account is not required for one-off sending.
• Take the parcel to the Post Office and complete the entire transaction, including payment over the counter.
• Use Royal Mail Click & Drop to complete the transaction online and drop the parcel off at your local Post Office, or collection from your premises can be arranged. 
• Quadient will have a bespoke solution available to customers in the coming months, so please look out for updates.

If you send goods (including gifts) to a country outside the UK, you must complete a customs declaration (CN22 or CN23).

Items containing personal correspondence, which includes letters, brochures, catalogues, C4 and addressed to an individual, postcards, braille letters, and individual invoices/statements, are not goods and do not require a customs declaration.

You may frank this mail as normal and insert it into the Royal Mail network.

Affix the customs declaration form to the outside of your package, making sure it is clearly visible.
