It’s no surprise that they like to talk when communications teams get together.  That was certainly true recently at our Quadient ‘See the Future of Mail Production’ annual event at our Factory in Loughton UK.  Some would say in-person events are declining, but we do not find this true.  Our event was a great success, providing a platform for attendees to reconnect, share and learn.

Reconnecting with attendees

The event took place between the 24th and 27th of April and provided an opportunity for attendees to connect with one another after such a long period of separation.  After all, communication is key in our industry, and we found that the attendees agreed that there was incredible value in meeting in person.  This allowed for more in-depth and transparent conversations around individual, organisational situations and pain points.

During the event, attendees had the opportunity to see the options in a live environment, which allowed for a better understanding of the processes involved in mail production.  Seeing the machinery and software suites in action meant that attendees were able to ask questions at each stage of the process.

Focus on Meeting New and Evolving Market Requests

Growth for businesses is focusing even more on how to meet new and evolving market requests and an agile, flexible positioning.  Therefore, there was much interest in the different software suites (AIMS, Impress, Inspire) and how they can work together with machinery to add value and deliver more for their clients.  Attendees found it especially helpful to explore the equipment and software first-hand and get a sense of how it would fit into their workflows.

Managing Physical and Email Effectively and Compliantly

The ability to manage both physical and email in a more effective and compliant way was a key topic, especially for those working in the public sector.  Attendees were interested in learning how to leverage secure and reliable software that worked with adaptable machinery to meet these requirements.

Increased Demand for Flexibility and Compliance

Our visitors' clients, both commercial and internal, are becoming more demanding in wanting providers to be able to quickly flex and change jobs while also requiring enhanced levels of compliance.  This has created more work for businesses to juggle daily.

Printweek's Coverage of the Event

Richard-Stuart Turner from Printweek attended the event and had a chance to speak with attendees.  In his article, he notes that Quadient showcased its range of products, including the latest developments in its Impress and Inspire software suites, which drew significant interest from attendees.  The event provided an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest trends and developments in mail production and how Quadient drives innovation in the industry.

In Summary

Overall, the Quadient "See the Future" event was a great success, providing an opportunity for attendees to learn about the latest developments in mail production and network with peers.  In-person events remain a valuable part of the industry and that Quadient is at the forefront of driving innovation in this area.
